(1)Deoria Tal Trek, Uttarakhand
It is located at a height of 2438 meter above sea level. This lake is located at a distance of 3 km from the Mastura and Sari village. Deoria Tal Trek is one of the popular, amazing trek destinations in India for travel lovers. It is also known as ‘Deoriatal’ or ‘Devariyatal’. If you go here you can see the crystal clear water of the lake which fascinates you. In the morning you will see the amazing reflection of the Chaukhamba peaks in the crystal clear water of this lake.
This lake is surrounded by dense trees and sometimes if you are lucky you will see chital and deer in the jungle adjacent to the lake. If you go here you achieve a lifetime experience. Lying under the open Sky by the lake will give you a different feeling when you see the starry sky. When you climb to the top of the hill you can see the sari village and dense green field from the top of the hill. You can go here at any time of the year but the best time to go here is March to mid-June.
(2)Chandratal Lake Trek, Himachal Pradesh
This lake is located at the height of 4300 metre on the Samudra Tapu plateau. A special feature of this lake is that it is shaped like a half-moon. This place was declared as one of the World Heritage sites in 2005. If we want to feel a bit like Ladakh and Spiti Valley then you have to come here. You will get some similar landscape like Ladakh and Spiti Valley here. You will see some more amazing views here like- Lahaul range, Minar peaks, Talagiri peaks, Tara Pahar peaks and Mulkila peaks. One of the beautiful features of this lake is its colour that keeps changing from reddish to orange to blue to emerald green as the day ends. Between June to mid-October is the best time to go here.
(3)Roopkund Trek, Uttarakhand
Roopkund lake is located at 4800 meter above sea level. It is located in the Chamoli district of Garhwal region. The nearest hill stations are Nainital and Kathodgam. This lake is known as ‘the mystery lake’ because 500 skeletons are found at the age of the lake.These skeletons have been around for a long time. This lake is located at the base of the two Himalayan peaks,Trishul and Nandghungti ranges. This Roopkund Trek starts from Lohajung. In the autumn season there are some religious festivals that attract travelers. You will also see waterfalls, temples and many peaks here. The right time to go on the Roopkund Trek is May first to June and September to November.
(4)Great Lakes Trek, Jammu and Kashmir
Everyone knows Kashmir is known as Paradise, but this is another stunning location in Kashmir.. Here you will see seven alpine lakes. Each of these lakes are unique. It is a 7-9 day trek which gives you lifetime experience. Between June and September this is the best time to go here. Here you will also see maple and pine trees which will cover your mind. But to do this trick you need fitness because it is located at a height of 13000 feet. During the monsoon season we will see the lake as well as the grassland full of green grass and you will also see a variety of coloured flowers in the grassland.
(5)Bhrigu Lake Trek, Himachal Pradesh
This lake is located at the height of 14000 feet from sea level. It is located in Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh. You can enjoy the beautiful breathtaking views of Seven sister peaks or the Deo Tibba and Hanuman Tibba, the outstretched Pir Panjal ranges. Also this place has an amazing natural beauty and this trek is quite challenging so it’s so attractive to Travelers. This trek starts from a village called Gulaba which is 4 km away from this place. This lake is named after the great sage Bhrigh who did deep austerities here. If you go here we will feel as if someone has spread a sheet of green grass around the lake. June to September is the best time to go here.
(6)Beas Kund Trek, Himachal Pradesh
This lake is located at a height of 3700 meter. It is customary here that the sage Vyasa who wrote Mahabharata used to bathe here. This place is very close to Manali. You will witness various Manali mountains while trekking. Friendship peaks, Hanuman Tibba, Shitidhar, and seven sisters are among the big peaks to be seen. This location is considerably more spectacular during the monsoon season. These skeletons have been around for a long time.
(7)Kedartal Trek, Uttarakhand
This Kedartal lake is situated at an altitude of 4750 meter in Garhwal region of the Himalayas in India. It is one of the most beautiful and attractive lakes of India which draws many travelers from years to years. This lake is one of the most spectacular in the world. It is filled with the icy water of Thalay Sagar and Brighupanth peaks all year round. The Amazing memorable views up Manda peak, Bhagirathi,Gangotri, Bhrigupanth peaks are visible from here. It is a seven-day trek which gives you lifetime experience. The proper time to go here is May, June, September and October.
